CHAN 2014: Three players sent packing from Eagles camp

Keshi drops 3 player from Chan camp

Coach Stephen Keshi has decamped three more players as battle for Eagles shirt ahead of Chan 2014 gets tougher
As Nigeria intensifies preparation for the African Nations Championship billed to commence for South Africa in January 2014, coach Stephen Keshi has asked three more players to leave the Super Eagles Bolton White Hotel camp.
The causalities are Kingsley Onome of Sunshine Stars, Bello John Ikeleji of Bendel Insurance and Eric Kwame of Plateau United.
More players will be sent packing after Saturday’s (today) warm up clash against a selected side in Port Harcourt, and Monday’s final preparatory game against Glo Premier League champions Kano Pillars.

In another development, the medical team of the Super Eagles has assured the technical crew that injured Kano Pillars striker Mohammed Gambo will recover in time before the commencement of the Chan tournament.

Gambo has been out with a hamstring which has forced him out of training.
