After months of speculation, voting, nominations, controversy and discussion, we are finally set to learn who will be crowned the 2013 winner of the Fifa Ballon d'Or award on Monday.

Holder Lionel Messi is up against Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo in the battle to win football's most prestigous individual award.

Sportmasta will be covering the event every step of the way and here is what we have in store before, during and after the ceremony:
