UEFA gaffe suggests Man City have signed Everton defender Stones

John Stones: Defender Man City's major target
A blunder on UEFA’s website suggests Manchester City have completed the signing of Everton defender John Stones.
City have chased Stones all summer as Pep Guardiola attempts to bolster his defence.
However, on UEFA’s Champions League website, the England international is already listed as a member of Guardiola’s squad.
And reports now suggest City have paid £42million to land the 22-year-old, who is expected to go straight into the side to face Sunderland on Saturday.
City captain Vincent Kompany will miss the start of the season through injury, while Nicolas Otamendi and Eliaquim Managala have failed to convince in the Premier Leaugue, with Mangala understood to be available to leave the club.
