Sakho was sent home from the Reds’ pre-season tour of the United States last week due to poor behaviour and time-keeping.
Manager Klopp insisted that the Frenchman, only recently returned from a drugs ban, would not be sold by the club this summer.
Sakho’s Anfield future is expected to be discussed when the club return from America, with the 26-year-old currently training back at their Melwood base.
But amid reports in the Italian press that the player is a £20million target for Roma, agent Niakate Housseyni has spoken out on the recent speculation.
“I’ve not had any contact with Roma,” he told LaRoma24.it. “He’s a Liverpool player and I don’t think Roma have any chance [of signing him] at the moment.”
Housseyni also denied that Sakho had had “any argument with his boss Jurgen Klopp”.
