Christian Benteke is ready to fight for his place at Liverpool should a summer transfer not transpire, according to The Guardian.
The Belgium striker is deemed surplus to requirements at Anfield and has been linked with moves to both Crystal Palace and West Ham, though both have baulked at the Reds’ £32.5 million price-tag.
The 25-year-old has struggled to establish himself under Jurgen Klopp but is willing to try and re-build his reputation on Merseyside if a move away cannot be agreed.
