Leicester owners ‘to meet in LA to discuss future of key trio’

Danny Drinkwater and Riyad Mahrez: Talks to be held
Top members of the Leicester hierarchy will gather in LA to talk about the futures of Kasper Schmeichel, Danny Drinkwater and Riyad Mahrez.
The Premier League champions are “crying” according to manager Claudio Ranieri after they lost star midfielder N’Golo Kante to Chelsea for £32million, and are hoping to prevent any more major departures before the transfer window closes.
Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has been linked with Everton, Drinkwater is reportedly in talks over a new £80,000-a-week contract and Riyad Mahrez continues to be the subject of heavy interest from Arsenal.
Wes Morgan and Jamie Vardy have both committed their futures to the Foxes and want the aforementioned trio to follow suit as they prepare to embark on their first foray into the Champions League.
The futures of Danny Simpson, West Brom target Jeff Schlupp and Ben Chilwell will also be on agenda at the hastily-arranged meeting.
