The Argentine's current club are yet to sit down to
talks with the Catalans, but both a temporary and permanent switch could
be on the table for the exciting youngster
Barcelona have reached a verbal agreement with Atletico Madrid prospect Luciano Vietto, according to AS.
The Argentine moved to the Vicente Calderon from Villarreal in 2015 after a fine debut season in La Liga, but played only intermittently for Diego Simeone's team in the last campaign.
Atletico, however, are yet to start negotiations with Barca over the 22-year-old striker, who is seen as the perfect back-up for Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar at Camp Nou.
A loan deal is a possibility for the youngster, as is a transfer which could be worth around €25 million.
