Barcelona forward Neymar stepped up his comeback from an ankle injury by returning to training on Monday.
The Catalan club
announced that the 21-year-old Brazil international, who sprained his
right ankle in the 2-0 Copa del Rey win at Getafe on January 16, worked
with a ball away from his team-mates during Monday's session.
Barca did not indicate when they expect the player to be fit to return to first-team duty.
The Primera Division champions lost 3-2 at home to Valencia on Saturday, meaning they finished the weekend second in the standings - three points behind Atletico Madrid.
Gerardo Martino's side take on Real Sociedad on Wednesday at the Nou Camp in the first leg of the Copa semi-final.
