England's number one Rajiv Ouseph eased into the quarter-finals of the London Grand Prix with a comfortable victory over Chinese Taipei's Hsu Jui-Ting.
The 27-year-old advances courtesy of a 21-14 21-12 win at London's Copper Box.
Chris Langridge and Heather Olver are through to the mixed doubles last eight after beating compatriots Andrew Ellis and Lauren Smith 21-19 21-17.
Sarah Milne lost 21-5 21-10 to Busanan Ongbumrungpan of Thailand in the women's second round.
Ouseph, who beat Ukraine's Vitaly Konov in his opening match, took 34 minutes to claim victory over Hsu.
"I was probably a bit more comfortable in the hall than in the first match, and I think his game-style suited mine," Ouseph said.
"He is quite young, so he made a few mistakes. I managed to capitalise on those and it was comfortable in the end so I was quite happy."
Ouseph, who is seeded fourth, will face Zulfadi Zulkiffli of Malaysia in the last eight on Friday.
In the women's doubles, unseeded Scottish pair Jillie Cooper and Kirsty Gilmour beat second seeds Birgit Michels and Johanna Goliszewski of Germany.
The finals of both the women's and men's events will be played on Sunday 6 October.
