Moyes waits on United defensive trio

Manchester United are waiting to discover if any of their injured players will return for Tuesday's Champions League tie against Olympiakos as they hope for a triple-defensive boost.
Centre-backs Jonny Evans and Phil Jones and right-back Rafael da Silva all missed Saturday's 2-0 win against Crystal Palace. Evans and Jones sat out United's training session on Monday, although Rafael participated.
But manager David Moyes, who had no option but to select Chris Smalling at right-back and Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic in the centre of defence at Selhurst Park, believes they could all be back in contention.
"We've got a few injuries but I'm hoping we might get a few of them back for Tuesday," he told United's official website. "We'll get a chance to see how Jonny Evans, Phil Jones and Rafael are and if they can join us."
Evans and Jones have both been sidelined by calf problems while Rafael suffered from concussion sustained in the 0-0 draw against Arsenal.
Moyes, who will definitely be without winger Nani, is anticipating a difficult test in Athens.
"They are really good and have had a great record," he added. "They are undoubtedly the best team in Greece, no question about it. They also have a lot of Greek internationals who will go to the World Cup and it will be a really tough game.
