Coleman & Deulofeu back in contention for Everton
Seamus Coleman is expected to return to action when Everton travel to Tottenham on Saturday, while Roberto Martinez hopes to be able to call on Gerard Deulofeu soon too.
Republic of Ireland defender Coleman was an unused substitute in the 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Saturday after sitting out the previous two matches with a hamstring injury.
A hamstring problem also saw on-loan forward Deulofeu return to parent club Barcelona in mid-December for treatment, but he is back at Goodison Park and nearing full fitness, presenting Martinez with a selection dilemma ahead of their trip to White Hart Lane.
"They are very important players and we have had good news on them. I would say Seamus is probably in the right category [to play]," Martinez told the club's official website.
"Gerard is back from Spain, is training and is really excited and enthusiastic about getting back.
"Obviously we will have to assess him to see how quickly we can get him match fit.
"From a medical point of view, he is fit and that's really positive and we have to make sure we give him the right doses of work. We're really excited at having those two back."
