Cabella has no regrets after snubbing Newcastle

Cabella has no regrets after snubbing NewcastleMontpellier midfielder Remy Cabella says he has no regrets after turning down a move to Newcastle.

The 23-year-old was the subject of interest from the Premier League club in January as Alan Pardew prepared for Yohan Cabaye's €23 million move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Come the end of the transfer window Newcastle failed to secure a replacement for the France international, and Cabella is happy with his decision.
"I made the right choice to stay at Montpellier. I have goals, I hope to achieve them," he told Sportmasta.
"I was glad that there was interest in me but the most important thing is what happens on the pitch here with Montpellier.

"I was 100 per cent focused on the team. I do not see myself leaving."

Cabella scored twice as Montpellier beat Reims 4-2 at the weekend to take his tally to eight goals in Ligue 1 this season.
