Alan Pardew saw a stunning €38 million bid accepted by Marseille, only to be trumped hours later by Chelsea who have reportedly stolen a march with a €40m offer.
It appears Batshuayi is not wasting any time adjusting to his proposed new surroundings if his recent activity on Instagram is anything to go by.
Bayshuayi has recently followed current Blues player Kurt Zouma, legend Didier Drogba, sponsor Adidas and the Chelsea Ladies team.
