Rio 2016: Great Britain and Northern Ireland's Olympic team

Natalie Powell
The race to secure places for the 2016 Olympic Games is under way as the countdown begins to 5 August, when the flame is lit in Rio de Janeiro.
Great Britain won 29 golds and 65 medals in all at London 2012, but who will be in the squad this time around?
Here you will find the names of every athlete already selected by Team GB, plus the key qualifying dates for sports who are yet to pick their representatives.
Athletes who have secured quota places will not necessarily represent Britain in Rio.
They have to compete at qualifying events before their sport's governing body decides who to nominate and then their place has to be confirmed by the British Olympic Association.
