Chloe Magee crashed out of the women's singles on the opening day of
the World Badminton Championships losing to world number 24 Yip Pui Yin
in Copenhagen.
The Donegal girl lost in straight games 21-15 21-15 to her Hong Kong opponent.
Magee and her brother Sam also lost in the mixed doubles to Hung Ling Chen and Wen Hsing Cheng of Chinese Taipei.
The Irish duo put up a strong showing but lost in straight games 24-22 and 21-17 to their opponents, who are ranked 35th in the world.
