The German international had warm praise for his
former coach after spending time under his wing at Bayern, while Dani
Carvajal is also reportedly a target at the Etihad Stadium
Pep Guardiola is keen to work once more with Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos when he takes the reins at Manchester City, according to The Mirror.
The ex-Barcelona boss coached Kroos during his first season at Bayern Munich, before Carlo Ancelotti took him to Santiago Bernabeu.
But the German has never hid his admiration for Pep, and both he and Dani Carvajal are reportedly on his wishlist as he aims to improve on City's tepid 2015-16 campaign.
