The Italian Football Association (FIGC) has ruled Lazio midfielder Joseph Minala is in fact 17 and not 42 as was reported.
A report earlier this
year stated that the Cameroonian was 42 and not 17 as he had claimed to
be, which prompted an investigation from the league's federal
prosecutor.
"The investigation did not show any need for disciplinary action," said a statement on the FIGC's website.
Minala joined the Stadio Olimpico outfit last year, making his Serie A debut in the 2-0 home win over Sampdoria on April 6.
