Holtby agent rules out Tottenham exit
Lewis Holtby has no intention of leaving Tottenham despite rumoured interest from Serie A, according to the player's agent.

Holtby moved to White Hart Lane from Schalke in the January transfer window and after initially struggling to hold down a starting berth he is now a regular in Andre Villas-Boas' line-up.

Roma and Inter had both been credited with an interest in the Germany international earlier this season, but Marcus Noack has ruled out the possibility of any transfer.

"Lewis has definitely no intention of leaving Tottenham," he told Goal.

"On the contrary, he feels very comfortable at the club and in London. He wants to establish himself further and contribute so the club can reach its goals this season."

Despite having missed Tottenham's entire pre-season thanks to an injury picked up on international duty, Holtby quickly battled his way back to fitness and started seven consecutive Premier League matches before being left on the bench for the recent defeat against Newcastle.

"If you take into consideration that he missed all of his pre-season due to an injury that he had during the Under-21 European Championship, it is remarkable he has already played 13 matches and scored or assisted seven goals," Noack added.
"He worked very hard in rehabilitation and after good performances in the Europa League and Capital One Cup he recommended himself for a place in the starting line-up for Premier League matches. I get the feeling that Lewis comes back even stronger after an injury."
