Cesc Fabregas has lauded the recent form of Alexis Sanchez and feels that the Chile international has what it takes to become one of Barcelona's undisputed star players in future.
The 24-year-old has been scintillating so far this season, netting seven goals in nine Liga appearances as well as a double in Chile's recent win over England, and Fabregas believes it is a matter of time before his team-mate is regarded as one of the best players in the world.
"I think that Alexis has it all to be a great star at Barca and in the world of football," the former Arsenal man was quoted as saying on the official Barcelona Facebook page.
"He's a good lad and a good friend of mine."
Fabregas went on to insist he wants to remain at Camp Nou until the end of his playing career after snubbing interest from Manchester United during the summer.
"I'd love to retire at Barcelona, but I'll have to work very hard for that," he added.
"Playing for Barca is a dream come true and means everything to me. I've always been a huge fan."
The 26-year-old has made over 100 official appearances for the Blaugrana since his move from Arsenal in 2011.
