Germany international Bastian Schweinsteiger could lead a host of Manchester United players offloaded during the transfer window, according to the Daily Record.
Manager Jose Mourinho is looking to cut down the Red Devils' bloated first-team squad, and the ex-Bayern Munich man is in line to be sold after a disappointing season.

Daley Blind, Juan Mata, and Marcos Rojo have also been deemed expendable by Mourinho, who wants to work with no more than 20 outfield players in the coming season.
