Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller has warned his side that they must pay close attention to Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The
Swedish star scored eight goals in five games in the group stage of the
Champions League and the Germany legend believes that he, along with
the rest of PSG's stars, can hurt his side in the last 16.
"Everyone is in Ibrahimovic's shadow," Voller told reporters.
"This
is a very interesting draw. PSG have a superb team, not only because of
Zlatan Ibrahimovic. They have lots of world class players, like
Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani."
Leverkusen were mauled 5-0
at home by Manchester United in the group stage and Voller says his
players have to give a better account of themselves against the French
champions.
"Of course we are the underdog and we must do better in Paris than we did against Manchester United."
The
Parisian club travel to the BayArena for the first-leg on February 18
before the return trip at the Parc des Princes on March 12.
