Falcao must offer more than Costa

Radamel Falcao: A shadow of his former self
Jose Mourinho says Radamel Falcao has not expressed a desire to leave Chelsea but the striker has been warned he must offer more than Diego Costa if he wants more action.
Reports in Monday morning’s papers suggested Falcao, on loan for the season from Monaco, wanted to end the agreement early so that he could find a new club in January.
But ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Dynamo Kiev, Mourinho said Falcao had given no indication to him of his apparent wish to leave Stamford Bridge.
“First of all I don’t know if it’s true. To me he said absolutely nothing in relation to that,” Mourinho said.
“I speak with him every day. It’s quite strange the press know something I don’t know and my club doesn’t know. We don’t have one single bit of information about it.
“What he has to do is play more? He has to give us more than Diego (Costa).
“We normally play with one striker. I always go for the performance level.
“It’s a direct competition between players for one position. The best one plays.”
