Boxing World Championships: Britain's Joyce loses in semi-finals

Great Britain's Joe Joyce had to settle for bronze at the AIBA World Boxing Championships after losing on points to Tony Yoka in the semi-finals of the super-heavyweight division.
Yoka appeared to struggle in the second round after being caught by a left hook from Joyce.
But all three judges scored unanimously in favour of the Frenchman.
Joyce, 30, the third seed in Doha, had needed a gold medal to secure a place at next year's Olympics.
The Commonwealth and European Games champion was the last Briton standing at the championships.
But he and his team-mates have three further opportunities to reach Rio 2016, at events in April, May and June of next year.

There was better news for Ireland as light-heavyweight Joe Ward became the third team member to qualify for Brazil.
Ward beat Uzbekistan's Elshod Rasulov to reach the final and earn one of the automatic Olympic places.
Michael Conlan will bid to become Ireland's first AIBA boxing world champion when he fights in the bantamweight final on Wednesday.
Two-time Olympic bronze medallist Paddy Barnes has already secured his qualification for Rio after finishing top of the World Series of Boxing rankings earlier this year.
