international has alerady expressed his desire to join the club in a
conversation with president Florentino Perez
Paul Pogba wants to join his France international team-mates Karim Benzema and Raphael Varane at Real Madrid, according to former goalkeeper Francisco Buyo.Juventus ace Pogba is being heavily linked with a move away from the Italian champions this summer, with the likes of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain reportedly considering big-money moves for the 22-year-old midfielder.
However, Buyo, who made over 500 league appearances for Madrid, has now claimed that club president Florentino Perez has already sounded out the former Manchester United man over a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
"Perez loves good players, he praised Pogba and asked him if likes Real,” Buyo told Telefoot and Sportmasta.
“If you ask a player if he loves this team and he says he does, it means he wants to join, and in the near future.
“In addition to the favourable financial deal on offer, Real Madrid also present the prospect of joining his friends Karim Benzema and Raphael Varane. And [B team coach and former Juventus midfielder] Zinedine Zidane would be provide they spirit of Juve.”
Madrid will face stiff competition for Pogba's signature, however, and PSG defender David Luiz believes Pogba should join him in the French capital.
"I hope that he will play with us,” the Brazilian said.
“I speak about him with [PSG and France midfielder Blaise] Matuidi, who told me it is a great guy and a great warrior, so I want him to play in my team."
