Nigeria open CHAN camp on December 14
Ahead next year’s tournament in Rwanda, the country will commence preparations next week Monday in the Federal Capital Territory
Nigeria will open camp for the 2016 African Nations Championship billed for Rwanda on December 14, 2015.
Sunday Oliseh’s team reached the competition for the second time having dismissed Burkina Faso 2-0 on aggregate in the last round of qualifiers.
Goal gathered that the list of players to be called up for the tourney will be announced this week by the Nigeria Football Federation, and they will be camped at the Bolton White Hotels and Apartment in Abuja.
Even at this, Sunshine Stars’ quartet Paul Onobi, Tunde Adeniji, Stephen Eze and Ikechukwu Ezenwa are expected to be named in the squad that will also have Austin Obaroakpo, Ezekiel Bassey, Chima Akasa and Gbolahan Salami.
The Super Eagles have been zone in Group C with Tunisia, Guinea and Niger Republic. Nigeria placed third in the 2014 edition staged in South Africa.
