Manchester City outcast Joe Hart is exploring the possibility of a loan move, according to a report.
BBC Sport claim
that England keeper Hart is “considering a move away from the club”
after being dropped for the first two games under Pep Guardiola.
The new City boss admitted Hart
was not happy after Willy Caballero was given the No. 1 short for the
games against Sunderland and Steau Bucharest and is now looking for a
temporary solution.
However, the report then suggests
that the 29-year-old “knows he has no future at the club and has not
“built up any kind of relationship with Guardiola”.
So despite acknowledging he has no future with the club, he is only looking for a loan move.
Guardiola said on Friday that Hart does not have the time to become the kind of ‘sweeper-keeper’ he is looking for.“I am not saying he’s not able to do it – with training he can do it,” said Guardiola. “With time. But his time is now. It’s not about what happens in six months, seven months.”
Where will Joe Hart be playing his football this season?
Guardiola again opted to start with Caballero in City’s 5-0 Champions League qualifier victory over Steaua Bucharest on Tuesday and afterwards team-mate Pablo Zabaleta did not offer much comment as he stopped for media interviews.
“At the moment Joe Hart is still part of the Manchester City squad,” the Argentinian said of his team-mate, alongside whom he has won two Premier League titles.
“I know there has been speculation about leaving and stuff like that but at the moment he is a Manchester City player, so I am very happy to see him,” said Zabaleta.
Hart has made nearly 350 appearances for City in all competitions since joining them from Shrewsbury in 2006 and he was one of their most consistent performers last season.
Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen and more recently Claudio Bravo have been linked with moves to City.
Everton and La Liga outfit Sevilla are interested in taking Hart.
