UEFA European Qualifiers return for another Week of Football
The UEFA European Qualifiers return on Thursday for the start of another action-packed Week of Football.

Once again, the upcoming international fixtures will be spread across five days to allow football fans across the continent to catch more of the drama than ever before.

The likes of Andres Iniesta, Raheem Sterling and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are set to feature as Spain, England and Sweden, among others, kick things off with their second fixtures of the Euro 2016 qualification campaign on October 9.

Vicente Del Bosque’s reigning European champions visit Zilina to take on Slovakia while England host San Marino at Wembley and Sweden welcome Russia to Solna.

On Friday, the Netherlands meet Kazakhstan at the Amsterdam Arena and Belgium go head-to-head with Andorra in Marc Wilmots’ side’s first Group B game. Euro 2012 runners-up Italy host Azerbaijan.

There are eight fixtures to look forward to on Saturday - including a tasty clash between Poland and Germany - before England and Spain return to action against Estonia and Luxembourg respectively on Sunday.

Guus Hiddink’s Dutch side then travel to Reykjavik for a tricky game against dark horses Iceland, while Bosnia & Herzegovina host Belgium and Italy play Malta.

Germany will be among the teams wrapping the week up on Tuesday when the Republic of Ireland visit Gelsenkirchen and Denmark take on Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal.
