Women's Rugby World Cup 2014: Wales make changes for play-off

Women's World Cup play-off: Wales v N ZealandWales celebrate scoring a try against South Africa

Venue: Stade Jean Bouin, Paris Date: 13 August Kick-off time: 14:45 BST

Wales have made two changes and a positional switch for the Women's Rugby World play-off against New Zealand.

Philippa Tuttiett returns to the wing in place of Dyddgu Hywel, with prop Jenny Davies, who scored a try as a replacement in the 35-3 win over South Africa, coming in at loose head prop.

Megan York switches to the tight head prop with Catrin Edwards moving down to the bench.

The winners of the match will play off for fifth place on Sunday, 17 August.

Wales face New Zealand after their outstanding win over South Africa and the Black Ferns' shock failure to make the last four for the first time in the tournament's history.

Sioned Harries said Ireland's 17-14 win over the Kiwis could inspire Wales, but coach Rhys Edwards said they are still a team to be respected.

"One loss doesn't make you a bad team," he said.

"They lost that game by three points. They are certainly going to be one the strongest contenders for the fifth to eighth play-off position and we have to be wary of them," said Edwards.

"They've scored most points and tries so far so they are going to be an attacking force.

"The changes we have made are purely on the back of looking at the All Blacks and how they play."
