The Liverpool legend continues to be impressed by the
puzzling Nigerian claiming he never gave him a chance to excel at the
Stamford Bridge
Moses stepped up and sealed a place in Conte's first team this season after enduring three loan spells with Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham since he signed for the Stamford Bridge outfit from Wigan in 2012.
As a result of his impressive record this season, the Nigeria international was rewarded with a two-year contract extension earlier this month, and was on parade for 70 minutes in the Blues' 2-1 defeat of Stoke City.
The former Reds skipper was not only amazed by his development this season but by his quick adaptation in the new defensive role he finds himself this season.
"Another thing you want a manager to do is improve players — and look at Victor Moses. I never expected him to have a future at Chelsea," Carragher wrote on Daily Mail.
"Given he had been out on loan so much, and the levels he has shown have taken me by complete surprise. He has been excellent in his new role of right wing back."
