The 23-year-old was involved in the Foxes first pre-season workout in Austria following his move from CSKA Moscow.
The Nigeria international who joined the King Power Stadium on a four-year deal, would be hoping to win laurels with Claudio Ranieri’s men following his impressive spell with Russia’s CSKA Moscow.
Alongside Danny Drinkwater, Jammie Vardie, Ron-Robert Zieler, Luis Hernandez and Nampalys Mendy, Musa Musa was among the group for the first day of training in Austria.
And Drinkwater believes the Super Eagles’ vice-captain and other new signings can settle quickly into the squad.
“They’re (the new signings) looking good; nice and sharp. As a bunch of lads we make sure that every player who comes in here feels welcome and I’m sure they’ll agree that it’s a pretty easy squad to fit into,” he told Foxes Player HD.
“So hopefully they all fit together and start to impress. I’m not too sure how people will approach us [next season], we’ll have to see.
“ I think we’ve gained a lot more respect from other teams and that showed towards the end of last season, definitely.”
Musa’s talents and explains why Everton, Southampton and West Ham United tried to lure him before finally landing his signature.
The Nigerian has a tough start to his Leicester City spell though, with the reigning English champions taking on Manchester United in the Community Shield on August 7, before facing Hull City and Arsenal in their first two Premier League games.
