The former Nigeria international reveals he
experienced the best of Stephen Keshi's leadership qualities during
their playing days
Stephen Keshi passed away in the early hours of Wednesday few hours before he was scheduled to leave the country for United States of America.
Fondly called the big boss, Keshi’s former teammate Fuludu has expressed sadness and shock over the demise of the former Nigeria international captain.
"It's so sad and shocking to lose an icon. Its least expected but truth is that death comes in different ways. It's really a great loss to the football fraternity," Fuludu told Goal.
"I begin to wonder what this world is about; it's obvious it's a gross material world. It has shown that one must have a heart of love and to relate with one another properly.
The former BCC Lions midfielder who played alongside Keshi in the 1994 African Cup of Nations in Tunisia was quick to describe the leadership qualities of the late coach.
"Keshi was a born leader, a complete captain who demands for player’s right. He is an all round leader, I saw and experienced that in all the years we spent together at the National Team."
He was survived by four children and his aged mother.
